Before You Travel (4–8 Weeks Before)
- Obtain apostilled birth certificate
- Obtain apostilled police clearance (last 3 years)
- Obtain apostilled marriage certificate (if applicable)
- Get passport photos (specific Paraguayan requirements)
- Gather bank statements (6 months, for KYC)
- Get reference letter from your home bank
- Prepare proof of address documentation
- Book flights to Asunción
- Book accommodation (recommend Villa Morra or Carmelitas area)

- Apostille all civil documents at your country's apostille authority

- Open personal bank account (after residency)

- Register with your country's embassy
- Set up tax residency documentation
- File departure tax return in home country (if applicable)
